I am a children's writer, nonfiction book author and former newspaper feature writer who finds it impossible to navigate daily life without prayer. Somehow sadly, I am able to forge ahead without exercise. Hopefully, that will change. I used to exercise regularly, so I do have a wee bit of hope, but prayer is one of those things that is non-negotiable.

I was born in Minnesota, spent my first six years in California, then back to MN for many years, and have lived in Northern Kentucky since 2005. I am Catholic, born and raised, but I have always been very open to what many religions and spiritualities have to offer.I think this site will be an answered prayer for many women across America, across the globe, for that matter, and I am honored to be a small part of it.
