Lauren Nelson

Director of Communications

Raised in both a Catholic and Evangelical Church in a town where cliques were drawn by pew lines, I branched away from organized religion in college, where I developed a healthy appreciation of religious diversity. Spirituality and faith are a journey- not a destination or asset- and I am so thankful to be a part of that journey for others through Prayables.com. I studied Corporate and Organizational Communication at Western Kentucky University, where I competed and coached for the national champion speech and debate team, and have spent the last several years working as a freelance writer and business, communication and social media consultant. A young single mom, I enjoy watching my daughter become inspired by everyday occurrences, coaching the local high school speech and debate team, and furthering my knowledge of the power of communication in an increasingly digital and connected society.
