Jewish Community Mourns Passing of Legendary Vocalist Debbie Friedman The Jewish community and spiritual music lovers everywhere, are in mourning today with the passing of visionary folk singer Debbie Friedman. A cornerstone in the Jewish music community, Friedman died Sunday at the age of 59 from pneumonia.
