Happy New Year!

newyears2011 is here, and we're excited about what the new year is bringing for Prayables.com. Here's what to look for in the coming months:

Features- Just launched today, this section is best described as “prayer journalism.” It includes articles that take a look at faith-based matters in politics, women's issues, secular media, and our communities. Make sure to check it out!

Girl Pray! Video Competition- Starting today, we're accepting video submissions for our Girl Pray! Video Competition. We want 60 second clips of your favorite little girl saying her prayers. The cutest and funniest according to popular vote will receive prizes that include Amazon gift cards, Prayables' book Personal Peace: Prayers for Women of All Faiths, and a soft, cuddly prayer bear for the little girls. Submit today!

An Exciting New Way to Pray- Ok, we're not really going to tell you much about what we mean here, but we will tell you this: you're going to love it. We're working hard at developing a new way to connect in prayer. Keep an eye out for this awesome prayer community development!

Thanks so much for sticking with Prayables. Have a safe and joyous 2011! We love you all!

Our 2011 Prayer for the Prayables Community

Such strong women, unaware of their vibrancy,
Sharing their hopes, dreams, fears and doubts.
Each conversation thread reinforcing a communal web of safety,
Providing harbor in the storm of a hectic, harsh world, and
Love to warm us from society's cold indifference.

Be with us in the coming year.
Help us to find self-love and respect.
Help us to acknowledge those qualities in others.
May our voices rise in chorus,
Greeting the new challenges and joys we encounter
With our faith resilient and resounding.

-The Prayables Team
