Tuesday…at sea,
yet not far from the harbor.
I row forward, scenting progress,
yet prone to doubt my own abilities.
Dearest Companion,
help me experience this day
like Balboa, first sighting the Pacific:
wide-eyed, without cynicism,
a vista of incredible opportunities,
with endless routes to success.
Please stay close by;
this ship takes two to steer.
