sweat-soaked.
Thank you for endings,
for they make beginnings sweeter.
Life cannot always be sunny weather;
we must bear our winters, too.
Help me to appreciate
the seasons as they happen.
Let me stay warm
when cold winds blow.
August will do the job
You ask it to.
Preparing me
for all the Februaries ahead.
