Forgotten Thank You's

WForgottenThankYousBetween work and family,
friends and parties,
I often forget to thank You
for the little blessings in my life.
Thank You for giving me
my period last month
when I was worried it wouldn't come.

Thank You for helping me convince
my Trig professor that I deserved to pass.
Thank You for guiding me to the perfect dress
for that party last Friday night.
Thank You for pointing out the flaws in that guy
I met before I wasted time with him.

Thank You for fast food 
and its ability to cure hangovers.
Thank You for being willing 
to listen and forgive me 
for my inconsistent conversation skills 
when it comes to You.
Good talk. Let's do it again soon.
