I am overwhelmed with gratitude to You
for putting this child of my child
onto this earth and into my life.

Her presence has brought me a joy
I'd never known, an abundant joy,
ever-bubbling; a transcendental bliss.

I thank You for this miracles,
for the chance to hold her,
and to cherish her.
To love her with a ferocity
that can only hail from You.
