and have made our peace with the past.
What a gift you've given us, to start all over again,
coming together as a blended family.
Bless us as we weave our lives together,
respecting former spouses
and welcoming all into the fold.
Make us a loving flock and remind us,
that all it takes is a willing heart
and a loving spirit to create a home.
Help us look back on the past with nostalgia
and look toward the future with hope.
