{prayers}
Pride in Labor
Dear God, As the plows turn the fields and the sun brings growth through its light, give every human on the face of this earth a purpose. Instill in us enthusiasm for the work we do and bless us with pride for a job well done.
New School Year
Lord, protect the children as they return to the classrooms. Keep evil away from our schools. Stop the hatred and intolerance from seeping through the cracks of our educational institutions. May the playgrounds always be safe and nurture healthy play habits. Bless the teachers, leaders, and school staff with good judgment, care, and kindness toward their students and each other. Thank You, dear God, for the precious young minds who will get a good education this year as they grow and prosper.
Real and Confident Faith
Dear God. Give me faith, real and confident. Faith that doesn’t wait for assurance. Faith that doesn’t bow to false Gods. Praise to You, my One and only. Thank You for a strengthened commitment to Your holy ideals.
Service to God
Dear God, it is my joy, my privilege, and my obligation to serve You. Show me the way. Point out the people who need my attention. Make obvious the wrongs that need righting and how I can help. Let me be guided by You first, leaving to last my selfish needs. Praise to You, Almighty God.
Prayer for Daughter
I come to You today asking for favor upon my daughter. Help her through her difficult times and keep her healthy, happy, and brave. Let courage and character be her way when the odds are against her. May she appreciate her blessings when life brings her to a smooth path. Praise to You, God of Compassion, who raises her up in womanhood.
