Modern Lazy
The original kind of lazy avoids hard physical work. Too lazy to dig a ditch, organize a warehouse or clean the garage. Modern lazy avoids spiritual labor. This is the laziness of avoiding honest self-reflection. It’s the laziness of holding out for that sit-down with God until you need something. Spiritual laziness is the {mostly} absence of gratitude. May you be blessed with soulful vigor that is continually praying, praising, and thanking God.

Power of Persuasion
As long as they are rejecting themselves and causing harm to their bodies and minds, there’s no point in talking about love and acceptance. The point is to show them. May God bless you with the power of persuasion through acts of loving kindness, tolerance, and prayer.

Enjoy the Trip
The most important journeys begin without map. May God bless you with a spiritual journey that is adventurous, exciting, and above all else – fulfilling. Transport yourself through prayer, follow God, your guide, and enjoy the trip.

Here and Now
The stairway to heaven awaits you, but not yet. No need to focus on eternity when the here and now leads you there. May God bless you with a life of meaning that assures your place in the after world because of the good you do in the present world.

Who do you touch? Who is within an arm’s length? Start with them, and be a blessing. Offer encouragement and offer a hand up to people close by you.

Dear God, in sweet communion with You my cares slip away and there is only Your sacred presence. Illuminate me. Guide me. Trust me with grace. May blessings of all kind come my way, and may my way be a blessing to all humankind. Amen

Breathe Easy
Lord, It’s so hard to stay afloat. The bills mount, the troubles keep coming, I am beaten, and I am weary. Lift me. Help me rise above it all. There’s a heaviness holding me down, I surrender it to You. I will breathe easy once more. Amen

Live Brightly
Dear God, There are times I doubt that I’m good enough. I compare myself to others. I am scared into not taking action and letting life pass me by. Yet, I know You have a plan for me. One that is greater than any I feel capable of. May I live boldly, brightly and with confidence – knowing that I can make a difference in this world. Amen

Peace Becomes Us
O dear God You are so free! Moving among us, helping us be Your very best for all to see. A perfect image of love and joy Your righteous ways we all employ And here, life’s beauty to enjoy. Peace and calm becomes us now Satisfied – yet we know not how Worry no more, we are with Thou. Amen

Your World
You are not shocked. You made me who I am and created me in Your image. You love me, believe in me, respect my choices – even when I miss the mark. Thank You God, for my chance to contribute to this world, Your world, a world that is not always fair, and not often easy, but a place where I can make a world of difference.
