Visualize a race.
Several runners are making their way around the track. People in the bleachers are cheering. You are in the race, too, but you are running last. You are trailing behind the others. You are giving it all you have, so much that you do not even see the other runners.
All of a sudden, you hear the announcers say, “The runner who was in last place is now advancing and passing others.” Then you hear the announcers say, “It is going to be a photo finish.” A moment later, you realize you have won the race.
That is how you feel when you change your old way of doing things. You are no longer trailing in the race to spirituality. You are up in front, winning the race.
Nothing can keep you from receiving the grand prize of God.
