A frog walks into a bank and approaches the teller. Her nameplate reads “Patty Whack.”
“Miss Whack,” he says, “I’d like to get a $30,000 loan to take a holiday.”
Surprised, Patty asks for his name. “Kermit Jagger,” he replies. “My dad is Mick Jagger, and it’s all good—I know the bank manager.”
Patty tells him he’ll need some collateral.
“No problem,” says the frog, and pulls out a tiny, perfectly crafted pink porcelain elephant.
Confused, Patty goes to consult the bank manager. “There’s a frog named Kermit Jagger out here who claims to know you. He wants to borrow $30,000 and offered this as collateral,” she says, holding up the tiny pink elephant. “What even is this?”
The bank manager looks at the elephant, then smiles.
“It’s a knickknack, Patty Whack. Give the frog a loan. His old man’s a Rolling Stone.”
