Most relationships don’t stumble because something went wrong. Mistakes happen. How you recover from a miss is what matters. You will be forgiven, and it will be forgotten when you are honest, open, and kind moving forward. May God bless you with recovery from your own worst deeds.
Talking and Listening to Others
Spend less time talking about others and more time talking to others, listening for understanding and respecting their right to think differently. May you be blessed with firm commitment to end hatred and judgement among God’s children.

Set Your Clock
You set your clock to get you up two or three hours before you need to go somewhere special. Yet when the Sabbath comes, you have trouble getting to a house of worship on time. May you be blessed to find your faith community and show up regularly. Thanking God in the presence of others is heaven on earth.

I Pray to be More
I pray to be kinder, more patient, more giving, more loving, more pure in my daily living. I pray to smile freely, encouraging others, withholding judgement of my sisters and brothers. I pray to end negative thoughts, spending more time with You God, in mind.
God Do Not
Dear God, do not grant me wishes. Do not fix my problems. I do not rely on You to make solutions appear as if by magic. My faith in You is enough to overcome challenges on my own, to find my own success, to make my own hopes and dreams come true. Praise to You who brings me strength to accomplish great things by my own power, with Your Divine blessing always over me, always present always within me.
Gifts from God
God, Maker of peace in the heavens, bless me with Your greatest gifts: the gift of peace of mind, the gift of peaceful slumber, and the gift of knowing that peace will come soon to all. Amen
Let it Come
Let the rain come and wash away the ancient grudges, the bitter hatreds held and nurtured over generations. Let the rain wash away the memory of the hurt, the neglect. Then let the sun come out and fill the sky with a rainbow. Let the warmth of the sun heal us, wherever we are broken. Let it burn away the fog, so that we can see each other clearly. So that we can see beyond labels, beyond accents, gender or skin color. Let the warmth and brightness of the sun melt away our selfishness. So that we can share the joys and feel the sorrows of our neighbors. And let the light of the sun be so strong that we will see all people as our neighbors. Let the earth, nourished by rain, bring forth flowers to surround us with beauty. And let the mountains teach our hearts to reach upward to heaven.
