{quotes}
Humility is not thinking less of yourself, it’s thinking of yourself less.
Give and they will receive it.
God is a good listener, hearing even the silent pleas of your heart.
Working on myself, for myself; but not by myself.
Nothing ruins the truth like stretching it.
Life always offers you a second chance, it’s called tomorrow.
{blessings}
Your Life is Your Party
Don’t worry about being the life of the party. Your life is your party – invite who you want. May God bless you with a good life, a fun life, a life filled with people who make your life party spectacular.
Make Something Beautiful
Most people want to serve God, but only in an advisory position. How about you? Are you ready to get your hands dirty and make something beautiful? May God bless you with a creative urge to serve, and the discipline to follow through.
Spiritual Maturity
Patience is a sign of spiritual maturity. May you be blessed to grow closer to God further from anxiety and one with your community.
Hope Everlasting
Hope is the thing with feathers – that perches in the soul – and sings without words – continuing eternally. May you be blessed with hope everlasting.
Finish What You Started
Finish what you started. God made the world in six days, you’ve had how many…? Completion is a blessing – now go bless yourself.
{prayers}
Remember to Surrender
I fight. I fight the system which is stacked against me. I fight with people who stand in my way. I fight my evil inclinations that tempt me daily. O Lord, I need to remember to surrender. Stop me from a life of fighting. Teach me acceptance with an open heart and strong resolve. Amen
Thank God
Thanking God for another day’s journey. Thank God for a reasonable portion of health and strength. Thank God for a right mind. Thank God for friends and family. Thank God for children and their educators. Thank God.
Don’t Forget Me
Lord I ask thee don’t forget me and all You want from me I will be.
Sacred Work
Today as I clean my home, help me to truly value the worth of my actions. Help me to rise above the tedious nature of household tasks, content in the knowledge that my hands are involved in sacred work. As I scrub and vacuum, let me imagine that I am also keeping my spirit clean and shining. Help me to seek out the dust that has accumulated in my heart. Help me to sweep away all self-defeating thoughts and erase any negativity that has clouded the mirror of my soul. Let me sing as I work, confident that my song will fill this earthly temple with Your love and grace.
Greater than the Sum
Dear God, Bring me to a life greater than the sum of my sorrows. Greater than the sum of my failures. Greater than the sum of my disappointments. Lord You are greater. Help me be the greatest I can be. Amen
