Be wholehearted with the Lord your God.
The Bible instructs us to be wholehearted with God, but what exactly is the verse instructing us to do? There are explicit commands to love, fear, and serve God so being wholehearted with God must indicate something different.
From this verse we learn that when we put our faith fully in God almighty, we are elevated above the fatalistic world of nature into the world of miraculous where all is possible.
Our charge is to rely on and trust God. To be confident in the knowledge that though we can change our future by good deeds and good behaviour, all of our life experiences and occurrences are ultimately engineered by God, for our own good.
I will behave well, do good, and with God’s grace, my future is bright.
