Break Away
Take a break from it. You’re focusing too hard on your problems. Even when you divert your thoughts, your brain is stubbornly stuck in the process of trying to figure it out. May you be blessed to pray in peace. God knows what you’re working on, no need for reminders. Instead, today, this very minute, close your eyes and praise God with all your heart. Replace worry with gratitude.
Enjoy the Ride
“Like riding a bike.” You don’t learn how to ride a bike from a book, or even a video. You learn by doing it. Actually, by doing it wrong; falling off, getting back on and doing it again. Life is like that. May you be blessed to enjoy the ride, no matter how many bumps you encounter along the way.
Company You Keep
You are a social animal. You are more like the people around you than you are unlike them. And that’s why people are important to your happiness. May you be blessed by the company you keep. Keep whatever it is that makes you unique, yet celebrate the commonality God gives to all His children.
Free Will
God gave you free will to use wisely. What He didn’t give you is, “free won’t”. May you be blessed with the will to make good choices that are positive, pleasant, and generous. Where there’s a will there’s a way.
God’s Love Notes
Watch for the love notes God leaves you and delight in them. May your eyes be open in wide-eyed wonder. God’s writing is found in His creation. Read it and weep.
