Friends,
From overhead, you can see the story taking shape—the vision coming together. But from our footsteps, the view is different: the daily toil, the unfinished work, the furrows still waiting to be sown. Both perspectives are true, and together they remind us of God’s faithfulness—present in the big picture and in the labor of each day.
We’ve reshaped this land—its topography and its purpose—creating space for regeneration to take hold. Fertility is being restored through ecosystems teeming with life, from pond to prairie, forest to field. And all of it is stewarded with one purpose: to nurture and nourish people.
“He makes grass grow for the cattle, and plants for people to cultivate—bringing forth food from the earth: wine that gladdens human hearts, oil to make their faces shine, and bread that sustains their hearts.” — Psalm 104
This is the bigger picture we pause to celebrate in every gathering—where the table is more than a place to eat, but a living reminder of God’s goodness. The bread, the wine, the harvest itself—these are not just sustenance, but gifts of grace that connect us to one another and draw us back to Him.
As Psalm 104 sings, creation reveals a God who delights to provide—who gladdens our hearts, sustains our bodies, and whispers through every field, vineyard, and table: I am with you. And as Jesus promises in Matthew 11:28, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
Here on the farm, both truths come together: provision for the body, and rest for the soul. Every gathering becomes a chance to taste and see His faithfulness, to lay down our burdens, and to rise renewed in the joy of His goodness.
Until next time,
