Week End November 3, 2017
{quotes}
You can’t pour from an empty cup. Take a day of rest to refill.
When you don’t go within, you go without.
Be a rainbow in someone else’s cloud.
What seems to us as bitter trials are often blessings in disguise.
Kindness is the language the deaf can hear and the blind can see.
{blessings}
Deep Knowing
Some may call it intuition, but it’s more precise than that. May you be blessed with deep knowing, it’s what the good Lord gives you as a way to act in confidence when your next opportunity comes along, or when a person is perfectly right…or absolutely wrong for you. Take time to pray on a hunch or hint and then act accordingly. God knows, and so do you.
Light Heart
Here and now, decide how you will spend this day. Ticked off and crabby? Bitter and sorry for yourself? Or, decide on this…grateful and cheerful. May God bless you with a light heart that knows only one thing: love. Be happy on purpose.
Follow Your Passion
What gets your attention? What turns your head? What breaks your rhythm? You notice the things, people, and places you care most about. May you be blessed to follow your passion and care enough to be the positive force behind making it better.
Stand Firmly
God’s love for you is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Could it be you who changes day-by-day, wavering in faith—doubting? May you be blessed to stand firmly in the ever-present love of God.
Multiples of Joy
To get the full value of joy, it’s best to have someone to divide it with. But what about the times when you are alone, or the experience is yours only? Multiply it. Tell it to God. May you be blessed with the gift of excitement that multiplies joy in every situation.
{prayers}
Nighttime Prayer
When the light goes out I fuss and fret I think and think with great regret. But now is time to give up the fight and greet the stars and moon tonight. Blessed slumber come to me, In peace and harmony I will be.
Jumping Right In
Yes Lord! This is the day You gave me, so I’m jumping right in. The past is behind me, tomorrow can’t find me, and I live for today. Your power lies within me, my arms open wide, I am ready to begin. I embrace Your Your shining sun. I breathe Your air. I walk confidently on Your firm ground. Thank You Lord for the Yes! in my voice and the Go! in my heart. Amen
Holy Renewal
Open my heart to the stillness of being Let me become an empty vessel Receiving the nourishment of grace. God, this is a new breath a new day, a new moment You open me up to the possibility of holy renewal Let wholeness be now.

Rebellious Soul
Lord, My soul rebels from time to time I ask You to help me resist my sinful inclinations. Let goodness prevail. May my best-self triumph. Amen
Disconnection
God, Thank You for helping me to disconnect if only for a short time. No television or computer. No social media or texting. Rather, fresh air and pungent smells, Pointed sounds and colorful sights, Surprising tastes and varied textures. Genuine, caring people. God, Thank You for replacing those sometimes wasted electronic moments, with true connections. Family and friends, Love and laughter. New memories I’ll cherish forever. God, Most of all, Help me to stay connected to You. Let me not become so consumed, distracted by gadgets and remote controls, that I forget You, the source of my strength, my peace, my hope. Amen

Proverbs 11:25
The generous person shall prosper those who bring good cheer will receive good cheer.
Nehemiah 1:11
O Lord, hear my prayer! Listen to the prayers of all of us who delight in honoring you. Please grant my success today by making those in charge favorable to me. Put it into their hearts to be kind to me.
John 14:27
Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you.
Psalm 91:11
For God will order the angels to protect you wherever you go.
Philippians 4:13
God brings a fullness of time to you, and will refresh you at the same time. God provides unlimited, ethereal strength to mind, body, and spirit. I can do all things in God who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13 Yet, your to-do list is daunting and you’re exhausted by a mere glance. Here’s a solution. Change your “to-do list” to an “I get-to do-it list”.
{affirmations}
Live It!
Instead of choosing to merely exist, I will experience life, I will live it.
Why Not Today?
Why not today while the sun is shining? Today, while I know I can. Why not today while I’m willing? Today, while it’s in my grasp. Why not today while I’m able? Today, I am on my way.
My Blessings
My blessings They run away from me My blessings I take granted My blessings leave me, drop to the ground I can’t stand it I do take them for granted My blessings when I achieve I feel bad when the next person Is pleading on their knees Maybe it’s too much care in me Maybe I wanna see everyone around me Flourish but everyone around me isn’t as couraged They’re not fueled by the drive to survive Their fueled by excuses and he said she said lies So I gotta just continue on the road And when I finally make it Be prepared to hear it was luck Knew the right people Or sold the soul

A Good Day+ Video
You think this is just another day in your life? It’s not just another day; it’s the one day that is given to you… today It’s given to you. It’s a gift. It’s the only gift that you have right now, and the one appropriate response is gratefulness. If you do nothing else but to cultivate that response to the great gift that this unique day is, if you learn to respond as if it were the first day of your life, and the very last day, then you will have spent this day very well. Begin by opening your eyes and be surprised that you have eyes you can open, that incredible array of colors that is constantly offered to us for pure enjoyment. Look at the faces of people whom ou meet. Each one has an incredible story behind their face, a story that you could never fully fathom, not only their own story, but the story of their ancestors. We all go back so far. And in this present moment on this day, all the people you meet, all that life from generations and from so many places all over the world, flows together and meets you here like a life-giving water, if you only open your heart and drink. Open your heart to the incredible gifts that civilization gives to us. You flip a switch and there is electric light. You turn a faucet and there is warm water and cold water— and drinkable water. It’s a gift that millions and millions in the world will never experience. So these are just a few of an enormous number of gifts to which you can open your heart. And so I wish for you that you would open your heart to all these blessings and let them flow through you, that everyone whom you will meet on this day will be blessed by you; just by your eyes, by your smile, by your touch— just by your presence. Let the gratefulness overflow into blessing all around you, and then it will really be a good day.

Receive Something Better
When God takes something from my grasp I know God’s not punishing me, but merely opening my hands to receive something better.
