{quotes}
When life gets too hard to stand, kneel.
To degrade people thus becomes tantamount to degrading God.
Knowledge is an unworthy goal unless it is accompanied with moral and spiritual wisdom and understanding.
Ronald Reagan
If you don’t like something, change it. If you can’t change it, change the way you think about it.
Mary Engelbreit
To gaze with love upon another person is to see the face of God.
Consider your chaos a gift —it demands creative thinking from which brilliant solutions occur.
{blessings}
Entitlement-Free
Hey you – with the attitude. Nobody owes you anything. You need to earn what you receive. Harsh? Maybe. True? Definitely. May God bless you with endless gratitude and an entitlement-free attitude.
Flawless
Flawless. It works for gemstones but not for humans. If you’ve never made a mistake, you’re not trying new things. Expand your horizons. May you be blessed to enjoy new experiences. Take a chance today and do something differently.
Know Yourself
“Think positive” is something we’re taught as life-changing wisdom. And it could be…but nothing is that simple. There may be a good reason for your negativity, that needs to be addressed, not ignored. May you be blessed to know yourself. Turn to God in honest reflection and trust that your path will be revealed.
Learn From Failure
It’s a fact: You learn from failure. Yet, we spend so much time avoiding it. Figure out what has gone wrong in your life and you’ll know how to do it better next time. May God bless you with personal growth that comes from lessons learned.
Victory Through Discipline
Life is about victories large and small. And the most important of all victories is the personal one, when you win the battle that rages in your own mind. May God bless you with self-discipline that leads to one victorious moment after another.
{prayers}
Without
God Help me – Live without pretending. Love without depending. Listen without defending. Speak without offending. Amen
Like None Other
This is a day like none other. Other days we were restless, unsure, hesitant to be brave. Today we are calm and confident. We walk boldly with You Lord. We stand tall among Your people – knowing that You too stand among us. Praise God!
Renew My Trust
Dear God, I come humbly to You with questions. Answers unknown. So many mysteries. Too much doubt and suspicion. Renew my trust. Fill me with faith. Give me insight. Help me to make right decisions which honor You and make me glad. Amen
Eyes That See
Lord I pray for eyes that see the best in people, hearts that forgive the worst, minds that forget the bad, and a soul that never loses faith. Amen
Center of it All
God, You are the center of it all. You ask me to keep trusting in an infinite plan that will surely be the right one. You protect me from my own fraility. You grace me with the capacity to endure. So amid my wariness, among this doubt, I know that I have it all and all comes from You, my dear God.

{bible & affirmations}
2 Corinthians 3:17
For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
God is Giving Me the Freedom to Choose – Faith is experienced differently by each individual. St. Augustine said: “Love and then do what you will.” I don’t understand why people always said, “God’s will be done” or “I give up my life and allow God to use me.” I believe God is giving me the freedom to choose. I believe God is saying; search your soul, find what brings you joy and that is My will. I believe God is the spirit of freedom. I believe that anything that takes away freedom is not of God. Sickness, death, pain, suffering, and unhealthy relationships. These are not of God. It is of God going through it with us. Maybe I am wrong, but that’s my take. – Stephen Fratello
Psalm 32:2
Yes! What joy for those whose record the Lord has cleared of guilt, whose lives are lived in complete honesty.
If it is not right I will not do it. If it is not true I will not say it.
Ecclesiastes 9:11
There is something else under the sun to see. The fastest runner doesn’t always win the race, and the strongest warrior doesn’t always win the battle. The wise sometimes go hungry, and the skillful are not necessarily wealthy. And those who are educated don’t always lead successful lives. Timing and circumstance impacts us all.
I yield to God’s timing. I accept my circumstances. I do my best with what I am given and am satisfied with my lot.
Colossians 1:11
May you be strengthened with all power, according to God’s glorious might, for all endurance and patience, with joy.
I am joyful for the power of the Lord is within my reach!
Ephesians 2:8-10 [adapted]
God gave you freedom to live and to love by His grace, through your faith. And it is not of your own doing, it is not a reward for the good things you have done. Rather, it is purely a gift from God. You are God’s finest creation.
I accept that all I have and all I am is a gift of God – pure and true.
