Week End November 2, 2018
{quotes}
Joy comes in the morning.
The wrong relationships prepare you for the right one. And when the right one comes, you’ll be thankful the others didn’t work out.
When the sun comes out it shines with honor and glory to God.
Let them plot, let them plan, your life is in God’s hands.
One day at a time. Got it?
There is no rut so deep that God’s reach is not deeper.
{blessings}
Uphill Climb
You need to go uphill in order to go downhill. Life requires effort to receive the ease. May God bless you with a safe climb and a pleasurable descent to level ground.
(Formerly) Impossible
“Impossible” they said in years past. Yet, so many of the things they said couldn’t be done, have been done. Don’t tell yourself you can’t do it, you can. May you be blessed with determination, will and confidence to do the (formerly) impossible.
Whisper
God is so close, you only need to whisper your prayer to be heard. May you be blessed to know the nearness of the Lord.
3 Things
There are 3 things that, once gone, never come back; time, words, and opportunity. There are 3 things that can destroy a person; hate, pride, and anger. Yet, overcoming all is the 3 things God has blessed you with; forgiveness, fresh starts, and love.
Better Promise
Make better promises. You spend too much of your time worrying about promises and trying to keep them. Instead, put more effort into creating better ones: More generous. More urgent. More Godly. May you be blessed with divine promise.
{prayers}
Worthy
How cool is it that You God, Who made the sun, sky and clouds, decided that the world needed one of me. Thank you for finding me worthy of a place on this Earth.
Move My Lips
Lord forgive me. My words toward others have not always been kind. Let my voice speak out with compassion and calm. Move my lips to offer encouragement. Let my message always come from You. Amen
For Peace
Dear God. Today’s prayer is for peace. peaceful existence. peace among co-workers. peace of mind. peace among warring factions. peace between friends and lovers. peace in the home. peace for everyone struggling with depression. peace in the family. neighborly peace. peace in an anxious body. peace for all good souls in heaven. peace of a calming nature. peace for all humanity
Lift Me
Oh Lord! I am overwhelmed by the negativity all around me. Help me break this vicious cycle of hateful rhetoric. Send good people to surround me and to lift me to higher ground. Amen
When Healing is Needed
Dear Lord, Healing is needed. Fix the fissures, dull the pain. Bring on the light. Let me know relief is near. Assure me that recovery will be complete. Praise to You O mighty healer. amen

{bible affirmations}
Isaiah 55:12
I go out in joy and allow myself to be led in peace. The mountains and hills are singing to me, the trees are clapping their hands, all of nature adores me, I live peacefully among God’s creation.
Deuteronomy 10:12
I am asked to love God with all my heart and all my soul. I am asked to listen and heed God’s direction. I am asked to serve God through acts of loving kindness. I answer Yes!
8 Levels of Charitable Giving, Maimonides
On an ascending level, they are as follows: 8. When donations are given grudgingly. 7. When one gives less than he should, but does so cheerfully. 6. When one gives directly to the poor upon being asked. 5. When one gives directly to the poor without being asked. 4. Donations when the recipient is aware of the donor’s identity, but the donor still doesn’t know the specific identity of the recipient. 3. Donations when the donor is aware to whom the charity is being given, but the recipient is unaware of the source. 2. Giving assistance in such a way that the giver and recipient are unknown to each other. Communal funds, administered by responsible people are also in this category. 1. The highest form of charity is to help sustain a person before they become impoverished by offering a substantial gift in a dignified manner, or by extending a suitable loan, or by helping them find employment or establish themselves in business so as to make it unnecessary for them to become dependent on others.
Psalm 30:12
My heart sings to You O Lord and can not be silent. I give You thanks now, later and forever more.
2 Corinthians 4:16
Autumn is a time when leaves wither and fall, making way for new growth in the spring. I am at the season of my life when I too can see ahead to next generations. Though my body changes, I give praise to God for renewing my inner nature each and every blessed day.
