Prayables Week of Daily Blessings April 22, 2017
{wisdom}
Somebunny loves you.
Love. If you have it, you don’t need to have anything else, and if you don’t have it, it doesn’t matter what else you have.
You find common ground with your enemy once you move to higher ground.
You say: once everything comes together I will find peace. God says: find peace and everything will fall into place.
Prayer is not a tool for doing or getting, but for being and becoming.
You’re only human, you don’t have to have it together every day of the week.
{blessings}
Celebration of Hope
Today is meant to be a celebration of hope, renewal, and new life. May God bless you with redemption and may you rise up, free from sin evermore.
Blessing: Praise Rather Than Curse
The issue isn’t what words you use. The issue is what you use your words to do. May you be blessed to speak on behalf of good not evil, to build up, not tear down, and to praise rather than to curse.
Blessing: Comeback Trail
You survived it. Now, it’s up to you to recover from it. May God bless you with resilience. Life may not get any easier, but you are on the comeback trail.
Blessing: Acknowledge with Calm
It all went wrong. Now what? If you have faith, you say, “Wow, that was a challenge.” If you don’t, you freak out. Or maybe, you freak out anyway, even with your faith. But panic doesn’t pay. May you be blessed to acknowledge the challenges with calm as you reach down deep to your swelling well of faith.
Blessing: Superior Thoughts
You are superior to those negative thoughts swirling around in your very able brain. You make the rules, now enforce them. May you be blessed to change old patterns and replace them with new and positive ones. It starts in your head and continues with your faith-filled actions.
Blessing: Prayer Life
How is your prayer life? Is it uneven? At times strong, at times floundering? May you be blessed to find balance in regular prayer that’s reflective, meaningful, and filled with gratitude.

Prayer for My Child
Help me to teach my child. To give her wisdom and show her how to choose good people to be in her life. Help me to teach my child. To look within for her best and to You for her strength. Help me to teach my child. Enemies will come but through You, she will always be victorious. Help me to teach my child. The blessing is in peace, love, justice and doing for others.
Prayer: Only Way
Dear God, You taught me: Treat your neighbor as yourself. Don’t lie or steal. Honor your parents. Straight forward, yet I look for loopholes. Just who are my neighbors? Do white lies count? Help me simplify my obedience instead of complicating it. Remind me that I don’t always have to find a better way. Your way is the only way. Amen
Reveal Yourself
Lord, There is nothing as certain as silence, stillness, and solitude, to help me understand the secrets of myself. I come to You in silent prayer. Reveal Yourself and I will be revealed. Amen
Prayer: My Right Hand
Dear God, You are as much a part of me as my own right hand. When I do not call out to You it is as though I am half. Thank You for wholeness. I praise You! amen
Prayer: Wow Awe Thanks
O, God! To my amazement and relief, You gave me a break. Just when I thought I had no reason to believe it would be OK – there You were. I’m speechless but prayer-filled. Wow! Awe! Thanks! Amen.
Prayer: Transformation
Lift me from loneliness, weakness, and despair. Lead me to strength beauty and happiness. Praise to You, who transforms me. Amen

The Decision to be Thankful Every Morning
Five years after Sandy Hook shooting, how one mother learned to forgive.
{bible}
Psalm 23
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
Mark 4:4
Why are you so afraid?
Book of Thomas
If those who lead you say to you, ‘look, the Kingdom is in the sky,’ then the birds will get there first. If they say ‘it’s in the ocean,’ then the fish will get there first. But the Kingdom of God is within you and outside of you. Once you come to know yourselves, you will become known. And you will know that it is you who are the children of the living father.”
Psalm 28:7
The Lord is my strength and shield; my heart trusts in Him, and He helps me. My heart leaps for Joy and with my song I praise him.
Isaiah 61:11
For as the soil makes the sprout come up and a garden causes seeds to grow, so the Lord will make righteousness and praise spring up before all nations.
Bible: Lamentations 3:24-26
“The Lord is my share” says my soul, “so I have hope in Him.” The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, to the one who looks for Him. It is good that one should be quiet and wait for the saving power of the Lord.
{affirmations}
Just for today… Hallelujah is my song!
I face problems bravely. My faith supports me. I am brimming with energy. My soul is tranquil. I have respect for myself.
Today, I will accept my present circumstances on the job. I will reflect on how what I am learning in my life applies to what I’m learning at work. If I don’t know, I will surrender to the experience until that becomes clear.
I will not take myself too seriously. I will lighten up and laugh with God.
I will learn from the past, prepare for the future, and live in the present.
I am One with God. One with God’s love and power.

BAD ATTITUDE
Lord, I’ve given this situation that my teenage child is having totally to you. Lord, you know all about it/her. Lord, I WILL NOT, compromise with her and I WILL NOT be disrespected. Whatever it is that she’s going through, I ask that you keep your hands on her daily. Lord, I don’t like her attitude and she thinks I owe her something BUT GOD…THE ONLY THING I owe her is to raise her the way YOU SAID to raise her. Help me as I continue to parent this child and God also allow her to see that she’s a KID…. and I’M THE PARENT!!!. AND AS FOR ME AND MY HO– USE…WE WILL SERVE THE LORD! Start with me Lord Help me to have a better approach towards her because YOU KNOW I’ve become very irritated with her. Amen & Amen

LONG STORY SHORT
I am taking care of my mom who has end stage dementia. I was taken away from her at age 4 for bad reasons. Met up when I was 19. After one day we did not click. Over the years we met up a few times and she always had an excuse why she did not want me around. So 15 years later I am taking care of her and she has become physically abusive towards me. But I won’t hit her back. She calls me name’s and tells me to get out. I am here 24/7 and I have had 2 meltdowns.

MY MISTAKE
Dear Lord, please forgive me for what I said to a student. I used the wrong wording and I offended her. I got or rather was thrown out of the job for being so insensitive. Please, forgive me I did not mean to be so strict/rude just trying to prevent her from getting used to lying to teachers.

COVERING OF PROTECTION
Lord, I plead Your covering over my life and family as You have your way in us and through us. May You be honored, glorified and well-pleased with each of us as we do Your will above all. Help us, Lord!

TEMPER
Lord, help me with my temper towards the person I love. I don’t communicate with you as much as I should. I ask you to shine a light on me, I ask you lord to teach me how to control my temper when I get angry so I don’t hurt anyone. Thank you.
