There was a young student who wanted to gain admission to a prestigious school, but his grades thus far were average at best. He sat for his admissions interview, and the dean said to him,
“I see your grades have not been stellar. Do you like to learn?”
“No, sir, I don’t like to learn,” was the boy’s truthful reply.
“If you don’t like to learn, why should we admit you to our school?”
“Because, sir, I would like to like to learn.”
