Prayables Week of Blessings March 11, 2017
{purpose}
Lord, You gave me 24 hours each day, and I thank You. I do not lack for time, but I do need Your direction. Show me Your priorities and I will make them mine. Guide me down paths I would not usually take. Help me make bold choices and see me through the process of follow up and completion. Praise to You most giving of purpose. amen
{open heart}
This is my prayer to You, my God. May my heart be open to every broken soul, to orphaned life, to every stumbler wandering unknown and groping in shadows. Bless my eyes, purify me to see beauty trise in the spirit of humanity. Deepen and broaden my senses to take from this flowering world the secret of life. Let not my spirit wither and shrivel in its thirst for You. Praise to the Holy One, oh so Divine.
{forgiveness}
Dear God, It is so hard for me to forgive the people in my life who have done me wrong. Help me to endure the hurt and get over it. Transform the anger to love. Resentment to respect. Bless me with compassion and I will begin to understand why. For me and for them I pray: May we all be good and fair to one another, and never again know pain, sorrow, or disappointment. amen

Dear God, I pray that each person find You in their own way. That they are profoundly moved by You. That hearts are warmed by Your love. May every seeker find a presence of peace so strong, that it cannot be denied. Let Your light shine on those in darkness. Amen
{confidence}
Dear God, let me not be discouraged by my failings. Let em take heart from all that is good and noble in my character. Keep me from falling victim to my own self-criticism. Grace me with confidence that I may be secure in serving others in love. Amen
{finding god}
O Lord my God teach my heart where and how to seek you, where and how to find you. You have made me and remade me, You have bestowed on me all the good things I possess, and still I do not know you. I have not yet done that for which I was made. Teach me to seek you for I cannot seek you unless you teach me or find you unless you show yourself to me. Let me seek you in my desire, let me desire you in my seeking. Let me find you by loving you, let me love you when I find you. -St. Anslem
