Q-Card Vol. 368

Week Ending Friday March 22, 2023

{quotes}

Think of no other greatness but that of the soul, no other riches but those of the heart.
John Quincy Adams

What is a weed? A plant whose virtues have not yet been discovered.
Ralph Waldo Emerson

If we are facing the right direction, all we have to do is keep walking.
Zen Proverb

God’s grace is bigger than your biggest regret.
Lecrae

Keep up the good work, if only for a while, if only for the twinkling of a tiny galaxy.
Wislawa Szymborska

{blessings}

Peace of Mind
May God’s blessings be so great that nothing can disturb your peace of mind.

Rise Above It
You can do this. May God bless you and help you rise above the negative words and actions of others.

Hidden Blessings
There are two kinds of kindness. Revealed and concealed. Look with care at all that happens, and even though you may not understand it, receive it as a blessing.

Being Positive
Never put yourself down. And while you’re getting in the habit, don’t speak badly about anyone else either. May God bless you with positive thoughts, speech, and deeds.

Being a Giver
You can’t be a giver if you don’t have what to give. May God bless you with the strength of a hard worker, the cunning of a smart worker, and a paycheck to match.

{prayers}

Steps I Take
Dear God, May I merit Your abundant blessings by the steps I take and the measure of my holy spirit. Let my deeds define me, not my needs to confine me. Praise to You, generous, glorious God.

Simply, My God
With what name shall I call You? Are there words sufficient to credit Your eternal goodness? You are the Father, the benevolent One. You are Almighty, Holy, and Pure. You are simply, and not so simply, my God, and I thank You.

Relax
Dear God, Help me release.
Lay Your hands over my fists. Teach my fingers to relax, uncurl, and spread wide, letting my resentment disappear and leaving my palms open to receive Your blessings.

God is the One
You are the One who causes the winds to blow, the rain to fall, and the sun to shine. You, dear God, are my outside and inside. I am Your faithful follower.

For Friday
This week has been a gift. T
oday, I tie the ribbon—wrapping up work, looking forward to rest. Thank You for the thousand ways You have lent a hand to me. Through every meeting and every interaction, through every dirty face and unwashed dish, You have been my guide. Help me end this week as I sought to begin it: with hope, strength, patience, and peace.

{bible affirmations}

The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave or forsake you. Do not be afraid, and do not be discouraged.
Deuteronomy 31:8

Blessed are those who dwell in Your house, ever praising You.
Psalm 84:4

Seek the city’s welfare and pray to the Lord on its behalf.
Jeremiah 29:7

The Lord God is my strength. He has made my feet like the feet of a deer and made me walk on high places.
Habakkuk 3:19

Let the morning bring me word of Your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in You. Show me the way I should go, for to You I entrust my life.   Psalm 143:8 NIV
Rest with Me for a while. You have journeyed up a steep, rugged path in recent days. The way ahead is shrouded in uncertainty. Look neither behind you nor before you. Instead, focus your attention on Me, your constant Companion. Trust that I will equip you fully for whatever awaits you on your journey. Adapted by Sarah Young
Psalm 143:8
