Bless the unsung heroes of the workforce, who labor unseen and underappreciated. Bless those who seek labor and have yet to find it. Bless those who are infirm and cannot work. Dear God, I come to You to withdraw from the stress and chaos surrounding me. I retreat to this most sacred place, simmering in stillness where we meet and where I am at peace with You and humankind. Thank You for the intimacy of prayer.
