I take a moment to be solemn amidst the fun and frolic of this day. I pray for the workers who in days past and present labor for little reward. I pray for the unemployed and the underemployed, who have yet to find work to sustain and fulfill them. I give praise to You, who shows us where our opportunities lie and I promise to seize this day, to work and play, and I will always be good and kind.
