Dark Days
Dear God, thank You for the darkest days. It infused me with an understanding I wouldn’t otherwise have. Empathy is earned, life is learned. And now I can honestly tell someone who is suffering, “I know how you feel.” Praise to You for knowing what is best for me.

Dear God, I have used and abused Your creation. I offer up to You this aching body for good health once more.
