{blessings}
Negotiating With Angels
Stop negotiating with your angels and cut a deal to accept what comes your way with grace. May God bless you with favor.
Bread-n-Butter
Friction should be the spice of life and affection should be the bread-n-butter, not the other way round. May God bless you and those you love to find the perfect balance.
Kinder Than Need Be
You aren’t who you should be, you aren’t where you’re supposed to be, until you are kinder than you need to be. May God bless you with kind words and deeds in abundance.
Passionately Smashing
Don’t dwell on what is expected of you. Instead, ask yourself what you’re passionate about and then figure out how to live it. The world needs more people passionately smashing expectations. May God bless you with a strong emotional core and the will to embrace it.
Stillness & Silliness
Stillness and silliness – the two are more alike than you think. Stillness calms you, brings you to a reflective state of being. Stillness is pleasing to God. Silliness is a light-hearted reaction to the world around you. It’s an expression of joy. Silliness is pleasing to God. May you be blessed with a wide range of emotions and practices pleasing to God and satisfying for your soul.
{prayers}
Let Me Be More
Let me be a little kinder, let me be a little blinder to the faults of those around me. Let me be a little more cheery even when I’m feeling weary. Let me be a little braver when temptations make me waver. Let me be a little meeker with the brother who is weaker. Let me think more of my neighbor and a little less of me, as I strive a little harder to be all I’m meant to be.
Ready for this Moment
I am ready for this moment, I accept the challenge, I embrace the struggle, I believe in my success. I stand before You my dear God, humbled by the task ahead, honored by your trust, secure in Your loving guidance.
I See God
Why should I wish to see God better than this day? I see something of God each hour of the twenty-four, and each moment then in the faces of men and women I see God, and in my own face in the glass. I find letters from God dropped in the street, and every one is signed by God’s name, and I leave them where they are, for I know wherever I go others will come, forever and ever.
Rooted in Love
Keep the children grounded in faith and rooted in love. May God be with them as they grow. Let them drink of truth and find nourishment in learning. May their sorrows be few and their happiness plenty. Remind them to be grateful, thankful and forgiving in their sweet souls. Blessed are the children under God’s mighty watch.
Obedience
I am taught to treat my neighbor as myself. Not to lie or steal. To honor my parents. Straight forward, yet I look for loopholes. Just who are my neighbors? Do white lies count? What if my parents don’t honor me? Help me simplify my obedience instead of complicating it. Remind me that I don’t always have to find a better way. Your way, dear God is the only way.
