Three men sat in a Russian Gulag. They had been imprisoned for their beliefs and their non-conforming ways to the communist party.
One man turned to the others and said, I was a successful businessman. I had a factory and employed hundreds of people.
Another man said, I was a merchant, and I imported fabrics.
The third man said, “I am still who I always was.”
How can that be?!! The businessman asked incredulously.
Before I was imprisoned, I was a servant of God, and now that I am imprisoned, I remain a servant of God. I had a career, a family, and a life just like you. But my priorities didn’t change when I ended up here. God is in this place, and it’s my full-time job to do God’s bidding.
