A town had been experiencing a bad drought. The people prayed and fasted for rain.
The entire community got ready for a big prayer service the following Sunday to pray for rain.
Sunday came, and as the people came to church, the priest stood at the front gate, furious.
He said, “Go home!” I’m not doing the prayer service for rain!”
The people in the congregation said, “But Father, we fasted and believed.”
“Believe?” said the priest, “Then where are your umbrellas?”
