Weekend Prayer
I am grateful for the week’s end. I rest in prayer and reflect on the blessings I encountered this week: the sunrise I missed because I was sleeping safe and soundly in my bed. The time of the day when I noticed it was dark and evening came upon me. Work to do and transportation to get me there. Food and friends, and friends with food. Family conversations that were pleasant and made me laugh. Countless moments with You, dear God, in gratitude, petition, and praise. Your love for me, God, who blessed me with another week of gracious living.
